Prices are the lowest nightly rate our listing last saw, before any honeymoon package. Rates change daily, so open a stay to check live prices.
Day by day
Two or three bases, never more than one transfer every few days, and transfer times you can trust.
The classic Bali honeymoon: culture and rice fields, then ocean and sunsets.
Nights 1–3
Arrive, unpack, spa
Settle in and book a long couples treatment for the evening.
A 2 am pickup for the Mount Batur trek, back by lunch for a nap by the pool.
Rice terraces and a tasting menu
Tegallalang early, Tirta Empul’s spring pools, then dinner at Mozaic.
Nights 4–7
Down to the cliffs
Transfer south and spend the afternoon in your infinity pool.
A long day trip to Kelingking and Crystal Bay. Book a private boat for fewer crowds.
Uluwatu Temple at sunset, then grilled seafood on the sand.
Nothing at all
Keep the last full day free: a late breakfast, the beach and one last sunset dinner.
Date nights
River cocoons, tables on the sand and tasting menus. Book the big ones a week or two ahead.
Couples spas
Prices are for the shortest single massage on each spa’s own menu, checked by us. Ask for a couples room when you book.

Good to know
Yes. In one trip you can wake up above a jungle river in Ubud, watch the sun set into the ocean from an Uluwatu cliff and spend a day on Nusa Penida’s beaches. Private-pool villas, couples spas and excellent restaurants are easy to find at every budget, and most nationalities can enter with a visa on arrival.
Most couples split the trip between two bases: three nights in Ubud for rice fields, temples and spas, then three or four nights on the Bukit (Uluwatu or Jimbaran) for cliffs, beaches and sunsets. Seminyak and Nusa Dua suit couples who want to walk to the sand, and Sidemen is the pick for total quiet.
Seven nights is the sweet spot for two bases without rushing. Five nights works if you limit yourself to Ubud and Uluwatu, and ten nights lets you add the quiet east around Sidemen. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for each transfer between areas.
The dry season runs roughly from April to October. May, June and September are our favourite months: dry and sunny, with fewer crowds and lower rates than July, August and the Christmas holidays. The wet season (November to March) brings short, heavy showers and the best villa deals.
It depends almost entirely on where you sleep. Across the 43 stays on this page, the lowest nightly rates we last saw run from IDR 1.8M to IDR 30.3M, with the middle of the range around IDR 6.8M a night. On top of that, budget for date-night dinners, spa time, a driver and day trips. Rates move with the season, so check live prices before you book.
Yes. Royal Kamuela Villas in Ubud, Samanvaya in Sidemen and Gravity Eco Boutique Hotel in Uluwatu are adults-only. Use the “Adults only” switch in our stay finder to see them. Many private-pool villa resorts are also quiet and couple-focused even without a formal age rule.
Many do, from a flower bath or cake on arrival to spa credits in a honeymoon package. Mention that you are on honeymoon when you book and again at check-in. Perks vary by resort and season and are never guaranteed, so compare package rates with the standard room rate.
Check your visa options on the official Indonesian immigration site before you fly; most visitors use a visa on arrival or e-VOA. Every foreign visitor also pays a one-off tourist levy of IDR 150,000, best paid online through the official Love Bali site. Respect temple dress codes: sarongs are usually included with entry.
