Swept Away at The Samaya Ubud

Swept Away is the restaurant of The Samaya Ubud, a villa resort in Sayan, and sits on the banks of the Ayung River at the bottom of the valley. The dining room looks onto the river and the jungle-covered valley, and candlelight dinners can be arranged for special occasions. The kitchen serves an à la carte menu that mixes European, Indonesian and international dishes, with a degustation menu and wine pairing available in the evening. Lunch runs from 11am to 4pm and dinner from 5.30pm to 10pm, with a smart casual dress code. Non-resident diners are welcome, and staff take guests down to the river by buggy from the resort entrance. It suits couples, anniversaries and a slow lunch in the Ayung valley.
