Opened by the same folks behind 7AM Bakers, Fold has its brunch game down to a tee. It is situated in the trendy streets of Canggu, where cool cafes served açaí, cold brew, and sourdough abound. To add to that, the cafe was decked out in green tiles that are very in vogue with Bali’s natural light to make your pan for Instagram all the better.
Fold serves brunch staples, deliciously simple pastries, and new inventions as well as timeless classics, such as egg dishes for those craving something savory, also fresh juices, coffee, tea, matcha, and homemade gelato. If it’s a decent brunch you’re looking for, you’re at the right place.

The outdoor restaurant serves up contemporary versions of traditional Mediterranean fare and has an extensive drink menu that includes top-shelf spirits, wines from around the globe, and specialty cocktails.
The menu features a wide array of delightful dishes like hand-cut pappardelle with slipper lobster, crab, tomato, and mint ragu as well as sea-bream crudo with orange and caviar that highlight seasonal and local ingredients, including fresh-from-the-ocean seafood.
19Deli Canggu

This creative bunch located in Jalan Nelayan slings up proper tasty sandwiches and can be somewhat expressive when it comes to being experimental with their menus. Think wild combinations like Mortadella, a blend of ciabatta, jalapeno, crispy mortadella, lettuce and umami sauce. But when it comes to the classic, their Beef Pastrami is unshakable. What else can we say? They already had us at thick and smoky pastrami.
If a filling and satisfying breakfast is something you want, the Pork Sausage Fennel with Bacon Jam ticks all the right boxes. Pair it with Sunrise Brew, made with cold brew, oat cream, panela, fruity spice, and dried orange and you’re good to go.
20Mosto

Mosto is Indonesia’s first natural wine bar, located in Canggu. In Italian, 'mosto' refers to the pulpy, newly pressed, unfermented grape juice that kickstarts the winemaking process, hence, it's an ideal name for this 70-seat casual cafe and bar, which aims to offer a laid-back, unfiltered, and vaguely European vibe to the trendy neighborhood of Canggu.
The posh yet relaxed ambiance is perfect for a laidback session of lounging on their monochrome furniture with a glass of wine in hand – all with warm, genial service that makes this place feel like a second home.

If you haven’t heard of Tygr, perhaps you’ve been living under a rock. Located at Pantai Berawa, Tibubeneng, this sushi restaurant specializes in serving hand rolls. Aside from their renowned hand rolls, their much-loved menu choice ranged from specialty rolls to ramen. Consider the aptly named Fireball, which comes with spicy tuna, cream cheese, cucumber, and Tygr hot sauce for the ultimate indulgence. It’s an umami bomb best enjoyed in one smooth bite.
At Tygr, they believe in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all the guests. The restaurant is designed to be comfortable and stylish, with a mix of traditional and modern decor. There is also a sushi bar where you can watch their skilled sushi chefs at work, sit back, relax, and enjoy a drink or two with friends.
23ZIN Cafe

Only two minutes walking from Canggu Beach, there’s this lovely open-air space sprawled across four floors, with a blend of classic smarts, modern natural comforts, and a genuine Bali spirit. Unlike the many other cafés that specialize in breakfast and brunch, there’s not a hint of overrated– while still making use of traditional breakfast ingredients like creamy avocados and eggs. Instead, it’s clear that ZIN still has a taste for hearty grub – like burgers, wraps, and pastas – all heaped and dripping with savouriness.
