The Kayon Jungle Resort is in Bresela, Payangan, about 10 km north of Ubud Palace, so plan on a 25 to 30 minute drive into town and use the resort shuttle or a driver. The resort does not accept children under 15, senior guests with mobility issues, drones or pets, and is aimed at honeymooners and couples. The setting is a river valley, so expect cooler, damp evenings. Book a pool villa for the most privacy; the entry-level suites have a balcony and bathtub but no pool.
