From the indulgent Crustacean Platter to creative hand-stretched pizzas like the Sunset Calzone with truffle oil and the cheesy Quattro Formaggi. The venue’s exterior facade features a modern interpretation of the Cili icon, a sacred symbol in Balinese culture representing prosperity, fertility, and well-being. Traditionally used in rituals and offerings, the Cili serves as a spiritual protector — and here, it becomes a visual centerpiece, reminding guests of the deep-rooted values that shape Balinese life. This meaningful symbol is framed by elegant wood latticework, terracotta roofing, and natural finishes that honor both cultural heritage and tropical aesthetics. On June 20, 2025, Cretya Sunset hosted the first edition of “Sunset in Color”, an electric fusion of live music, immersive art, and cultural performance. With over 500 guests, including lifestyle influencers, global travelers, and hospitality leaders, the event turned heads and set the tone for a new kind of sundown ritual in Ubud. The event featured live sets from local and international DJs, fire dancers, and interactive elements like water percussion and lighting installations all staged against the backdrop of rice fields and a pastel sky. This party also gave guests a peek into Cretya Sunset’s expansion plans, a mezzanine dining area and the Jacuzzi day club transforming the venue into a hub for both elevated dining and high-vibe gatherings.
