Bambootel Sawah View

Bambootel Sawah View is an adults-only (12+) bamboo resort in Banjar Maniktawang, Tampaksiring, about 30 minutes north of Ubud. It is the first open property of the Bambootel brand and is built largely from natural bamboo among rice terraces, with views across the valley.

Accommodation ranges from 47.5 sqm suites that open onto a shared lagoon pool and 60 sqm deluxe suites with a private jacuzzi to the 85 sqm Sky Villa on bamboo stilts with a rooftop hot tub. Pool villas of 95 sqm and up, including two- and three-bedroom villas, have private heated pools.

The Nini serves breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the main pool and valley, with a bar and lounge below, while Maniq offers modern Asian dinners with live music and barbecue nights. Embung Spa adds a sauna, steam room and a cold room with an ice bath, and there is a 24-hour gym and a yoga shala with daily classes.

Tirta Empul Temple is about 1.7 km away, Gunung Kawi 3 km and Tegallalang rice terraces 7 km. Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 55 km, roughly 90 minutes by car.
