The Hidden Paradise Ubud

The Hidden Paradise Ubud is a 20-unit boutique resort on the west rim of the Petanu River gorge in Pejeng Kawan, a working Balinese village about a 10-minute drive east of central Ubud on the road to Tirta Empul. The grounds cover around two hectares of garden.

Rooms range from 45 m² Premiere Suites (adults only) to 48 m² Valley View and Garden Suites, a 64 m² Honeymoon Pool Suite with a four-poster bed, outdoor bath and private plunge pool, a 200 m² two-bedroom Gem Villa with kitchen, and the four-bedroom Villa Oia with its own pool for up to 11 guests.

A 55 m infinity pool runs along the gorge edge. Sunset Point serves breakfast and European and Indonesian dishes, Hidden Gem Lounge & Bar opens from 15:00, and Hidden Gem Spa has open-air pavilions over the valley. Yoga classes run at the Riverside Yoga Shala, and a guided Petanu River walk takes about an hour.

A free shuttle runs to central Ubud four times a day. Tirta Empul and Gunung Kawi are about 25 minutes north, and the airport is roughly 1.5 hours away.
