SHUN Omakase Counter

SHUN is an intimate Japanese omakase counter on the ground floor of The Komu Hotel in Berawa, Canggu, run by Tavolo Group. Eleven guests sit at a single counter while Chef Mark Jeremie Oliver prepares each course in front of them, using seasonal fish, much of it flown in from Tokyo's Toyosu Market, alongside Balinese produce. There is no a la carte menu. Guests choose the 13-course Tsukiyo set (IDR 1,600,000++) or the 18-course Yugen set (IDR 2,200,000++), which run through appetisers, sashimi, a signature uni dish, Edomae sushi, soup and dessert, with A5 Miyazaki wagyu on the Yugen. Sake, wine, cocktails and drinks pairings are available. With two seatings each night, it suits special occasions, couples and sushi lovers who want a chef's-table experience.
