Santanera

Santanera is a three-storey restaurant and rooftop bar on Jalan Tanah Barak in Canggu, set among shops and rice fields. It was founded by friends including Colombian chefs Andres Becerra and German Rincon, with Becerra as executive chef. The menu pairs Latin American flavours with Mediterranean influences and local organic produce, with smoked, cured, fermented and chargrilled dishes from land and sea made for sharing. The 160-seat interior has brown leather banquettes, herringbone floors, marble tables and art by Due Hatue, and a spiral staircase leads to the rooftop bar. It serves lunch and dinner daily and suits groups, celebrations and sunset cocktails upstairs.
