Bar Vera Bistro & Wine Bar

Bar Vera is a 65-seat bistro and wine bar on the ground floor of a boutique hotel on Jalan Pantai Pererenan, opened in 2023 by the team behind Mason. It takes its cue from the new generation of European wine bars, with terracotta walls, wood, stone and concrete. The kitchen applies classic French technique to locally sourced produce, with plates such as pumpkin pithivier and charcoal-roasted chicken, and a lunch menu alongside dinner. Drinks follow European habits from aperitifs to after-dinner coffee, and the wine list focuses on European bottles. It opens daily from midday until midnight and suits long lunches, wine-led dinners and small groups who want a relaxed bistro rather than a beach club.
