Mori Teppanyaki

Mori, from the Japanese word for forest, is a teppanyaki restaurant inside Bisma Eight Hotel on Jalan Bisma. Dinner is served at a single ten-seat counter around the teppan, with all guests served together through a seasonal multi-course set menu. Sets are built around a choice of beef, from Australian Angus rib eye and wagyu striploin to Miyazaki A5 sirloin, or a seafood and poultry option. Courses include sushi with ikura and caviar, crab salad, miso soup and teppan fried rice. Local produce comes from the family garden in Tegallalang, select proteins are sourced from Japan, and the kitchen ages, pickles and ferments on site. A cocktail program with Japanese touches runs alongside. The intimate format suits couples, special occasions and small private groups.
