Syrco BASÈ is the Ubud restaurant of chef Syrco Bakker. The kitchen builds on Indonesian roots and Bali-sourced products, finished with a modern Western approach the team calls conscious dining. The site also holds KU, a chef's counter atelier, a cocktail bar and a small shop. Dinner is a set journey of small plates and mains such as sea bass with sambal hijau, beef tartare rendang style, taro rosti with spiny lobster, a BASÈ soto or Bali bouillabaisse, and banteng tenderloin. Two dinner formats are offered (BASÈ essence at IDR 1,500k++ and BASÈ journey at IDR 1,750k++), with wine, mixed and zero-alcohol pairings. Lunch runs on Fridays and Saturdays by reservation.
