About This Restaurant
NOMAD opened on Jalan Raya Ubud in 1979, when founder Nyoman also started one of the first telephone kiosks in town, and it has stayed in the same family-run spot near the Ubud market for more than four decades.
The menu mixes local Balinese dishes, Asian fusion plates and Western food, from breakfast through dinner. Reservations for tables, dinners and special arrangements are taken by WhatsApp or phone, and dishes can also be ordered for delivery on GoFood and GrabFood.
It opens daily from 9am to 11pm. Its central location, a short walk from Ubud Palace and the market, makes it an easy stop between sightseeing, and it suits travellers wanting a long-standing local restaurant rather than a new opening.
