Indus Restaurant

Indus has served Balinese and Asian cooking on the Sanggingan ridge since 1998, as part of Janet DeNeefe's Casa Luna family. The two-level, open-air building uses hand-carved columns, terrazzo and teak, with views across the Tjampuhan valley towards Mount Agung. The kitchen is known for beef rendang, fish curry and barramundi in banana leaves, with dishes such as Balinese-style paella and a coconut creme caramel to finish. A two-course valley lunch runs daily from 11am to 3pm, and happy hour on the terrace offers two cocktails for IDR 150K++ from 4pm to 6pm. Saturday evenings bring live Latin jazz from 7pm, and the restaurant also hosts weddings and private celebrations. It suits sunset drinks, long lunches with a view and relaxed dinners.
