Poppies Restaurant

Poppies Restaurant opened in 1973 on Poppies Lane 1, near the south end of Jalan Legian and Bemo Corner, and is one of Kuta's earliest dining spots. It sits within Poppies Bali, a small cottage hotel, and diners eat among gardens, lily ponds and old coral-stone walls. The menu mixes Indonesian specialties with international dishes and fresh seafood. The signature is the rijsttafel, a spread of small Indonesian dishes, and the bar is known for its Pina Colada served in a coconut carved as a Balinese Barong mask.
