Bale Udang opened in 2009 on Jalan Nakula, between Kuta and Denpasar, and describes itself as Bali's first and largest floating bale restaurant. Guests eat in thatched pavilions that float on a lake within a one-hectare garden, with fountains, small boats and Balinese cultural performances. The kitchen serves live seafood seasoned with Jimbaran spices, the signature Nasi Udang, and Balinese-inspired mains, with set packages for groups and events.
