Revered musician, producer, and DJ Jamie xx makes his Desa debut on Saturday, 28 December, lighting up our festive season as he brings his In Waves album tour to Bali.
One of the most in-demand and respected producers of his generation, Jamie Smith is known for his work as part of the London-based trio, The xx, as well as for his solo and remix projects. His genre-blending sound and prolific output have seen him collaborate with artists as diverse as Gil Scott-Heron, Drake, Rihanna, Radiohead, Alicia Keys, Tyler, the Creator, and many others.
In Waves is Jamie’s second studio album, released nine years after his critically acclaimed In Colour LP. The album features collaborations with The xx bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim, as well as Honey Dijon, Kelsey Lu, John Glacier, Panda Bear, Robyn, The Avalanches, and Oona Doherty.
