Kedisan Kintamani

Kedisan is the restaurant of Desa Oculus, set on the Kedisan ridge in Kintamani with Mount Batur directly across the caldera. One kitchen serves two spaces: Amber, a warm indoor room of volcanic stone and timber with wood-fire cooking, and Horizon, an open-air terrace with an infinity pool, daybeds, sharing plates and cocktails. The menu mixes Indonesian dishes with Western comfort food. Signatures include Ocu duck breast, ikan kuah kuning (white fish in a Papuan-style turmeric broth), a build-your-own steak with house volcanic salts, nasi goreng udang and wood-fired pizzas. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are marked on the menu. It suits sunrise breakfasts after a Mount Batur trek, long lunches by the pool and quiet dinners. A rooftop terrace (Ruang Langit) and private rooms are available for events and weddings.
