1Lempuyang Temple

Lempuyang Temple or Pura Lempuyang Luhur, also known as The Temple of a Thousands Steps“. Here you will be able to climb more than 1,700 steps to reach the top of the temple. This historical site is known to be Bali’s 9 key directional temples situated in the summit of Belibis Hill, Karangasem Regency. If you are from Kuta or Seminyak Area, it will take about about 2.5 - 3 hours get here.

Here, you can buy chocolate and coconut products straight from the factory! They also have a cafe that serves up amazing hot chocolate! 3Tirta Gangga

Tirta Gangga means water of the Ganges, Hinduism's holy river. It was built in 1946 during the reign of the late King (Raja) of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut. Here, you can feast your eyes on the beautiful Balinese water garden filled with ponds, fountains and lawns. This place is located in Karangasem, which will take 2.5 hours drive from Kuta.

Don’t forget to buy fish food before the entrance counter so you can feed the fishes.

5Taman Ujung Water Castle

Explore the east side of Bali by visiting Taman Ujung Water Palace. Walk around here and enjoy the the Balinese architecture with Dutch influence and take good photos here. It is located approximately 5 kilometres from Amlapura. It is the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late raja of Karangasem.
